The USA EPA has defined Low Leak Technology products are those that leak less than 100 PPMv (as determined by Method 21 techniques) over a reasonable lifetime.
For valve packing, the 2nd Edition of API 622 is the prominant test standard to meet the Low Leak Technology definition. The table below lists all the products tested at Yarmouth Research that have successfully completed the fugitive emission portion of the API 622 standard. The other parts of the standard, materials and corrosion tests, do not have pass/fail criteria.
The data in the Table below lists tests in the order of test dates starting with the most recent. Contact the company to receive the test results or other information on the product. Yarmouth cannot supply the test results without customer approval.
