2020 marks the 28th year of Yarmouth Research. When I started this business, my goal was to provide accurate and affordable valve and seal testing services to the Petro/Chemical Industry. I am continuing to improve equipment, facilities, and training to keep this goal intact. While equipment is important, the most important asset to a test lab is people. While anyone can take a leak reading, only a properly trained Technician can do it accurately. I am blessed to have a great crew of Technicians and Managers (Molly and Dean).
While I have expanded our testing capabilities into many areas, my original focus was on Fugitive Emissions. Seeing the evolution of products over these past 28 years is truly inspiring. In 1992, leakage requirements were as high as 10,000 PPMv, and today test standards are being revised with 100 PPMv with no adjustments throughout the test. See the Media tab for some recent presentations and an article that I wrote about fire testing. So lastly, I would like to thank all my customers over these past 28 years and give my assurance that our high standards will continue. Please contact me with any questions that you may have.
