Mission

2022 marked the 30th year of Yarmouth Research and Technology. When Mark Wasielewski started this business, his goal was to provide accurate and affordable valve and seal testing services to the Petro/Chemical Industry. YRT is continuing to improve equipment, facilities, and training to keep this goal intact. While equipment is important, the most important asset to a test lab is people. While anyone can take a leak reading, only a properly trained Technician can do it accurately. We are blessed to have a great crew of Technicians and Managers.

While we have expanded our testing capabilities into many areas, the original focus was on Fugitive Emissions. Seeing the evolution of products over these past 32 years is truly inspiring. In 1992, leakage requirements were as high as 10,000 ppmv, and today test standards are being revised with 100 ppmv with no adjustments throughout the test.
